Intermediate Database Developer
Working with the Software Development Manager, you will design, implement, and maintain moderately complex databases, maintain database dictionaries and integrate systems through database design. Competent to work on most phases of software development, but may require some instruction and guidance in other phases.
Required Skills:
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000 & 2005
- Must have strong T-SQL and Stored Procedure coding abilities
- MSSQL ETL using SSIS packages and C# programming
- Design and develop reports leveraging Microsoft Reporting Services
- Experience in all phases of the software development cycle
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in designing & developing databases and database systems
- Bachelor of Science degree in Information Science, Computer Science, or Software Engineering
Recommended Skills:
- OLAP cube based reports and dashboards Experience with data analysis, data modeling, replication and data transformation services
- Must have strong experience with methodologies specifically for database design
- Must have solid experience in optimizing databases, solid understanding of referential integrity and understand the use of indexes
- Self-motivated and have the ability to work with supervisory direction to deliver excellent product
- A solid understanding of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 & 2005 and Windows operating system
