N-able Technologies Enters Australian Market, Expands Global Footprint
Global IT Software Innovator Opens Office in Australia and Announces a Local, Partner-Focused Training and Education Event for Managed Services
Sydney, Australia — February 27, 2008 — Expanding its global footprint, N-able Technologies®, the preferred supplier of remote monitoring and management software and business transformation services for managed service providers (MSPs), today launched its Australian operations and announced the immediate availability of its award winning N-central® 6.5 software. N-able's innovative remote management and monitoring (RMM) solution and flexible pricing model enable IT businesses to provide enterprise-level RMM capabilities and IT service automation solutions to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
N-able's new Australian office is located in Sydney, and will be managed by Regional Sales Manager Derik Poitras. The company will continue to sell exclusively through the IT channel and is set to announce a strategic alliance with a leading Australian distributor.
Market research firm IDC forecasts the Australian IT services market is expected to reach A$15 billion by 2011. Frost & Sullivan predict that the managed security services market alone in Australia will grow by 20 percent annually through 2013.
"Australia's IT services market is primed for growth and the proactive, automated managed services capabilities found within N-central will help ignite this demand and enhance how IT services are being delivered and consumed not only in Australia, but across the globe," says Garbutt. "Much like in North America and the other regions we do business in today, our success in Australia will be measured by that of our partners. We are eager to earn the business of Australia’s solution provider and system integrator community and bring to market the advantage and value of N-able's IT automation and managed services technology."
IT Leaders, a Queensland-based solution provider, partnered with N-able to differentiate its managed services offering and help clients achieve their business goals. "Before engaging with N-able, we were really struggling to find a partner in Australia that could help us innovate our services business beyond the obvious and increase our client value long-term," says Scott Jones, general manager and owner of IT Leaders, a dynamic solution provider that operates from two business locations and has more than 1,000 SMB clients in South East QLD and Northern NSW. "Now with the support of N-able’s team and its comprehensive N-central 6.5 platform we're able to not only automate our IT services, but customize our managed services offering to avoid the commoditization that many solution providers are facing. That's where the real partner value lies for us."
N-able Technologies to Host First Partner Event in Australia on March 6
To help seed the market and foster new partnerships, N-able's executive team will host a number of complimentary training and education-focused events and road shows throughout Australia in 2008. These events, which have proven very successful in other parts of the world including North America and the U.K., will provide local IT companies with insight into what it takes to successfully sell managed services and build a profitable services business.
N-able's first partner training and education event will be held March 6 at the Vibe Hotel in North Sydney. Attendees will receive a live demonstration of N-central's automated features and time-saving functionality, as well as introductory pricing options.
